I want a cute girl in my bed right now. I want to cuddle and whisper under the covers and fall asleep snuggled together. I want to buy her flowers and hug all the time. I want to go to diners late at night and listen to music way too loud with the windows down. I want to spend rainy days in a mess of pillows and blankets, listening to the rain come down on the roof. I want to hold her and to be held, to cry and talk and laugh and tell stories. I want to be in lust and maybe someday in love.

I finally feel ready to move on. Breaking up is one of the hardest emotional lessons to learn, but its so damn cathartic when you can just open up and say whats inside your heart and mind. I’ve been wallowing in the past and trying to desperately hang on to threads of a relationship that honestly hasn’t existed for over a year now. I’m so lucky to have such a great friend come out of the lover I lost. I know that some people you’re meant to fall in love with but not meant to be with. I’m learning to be on my own more, and learning to be more independent. I feel like I’m on the verge of a great personal discovery. I really feel ready.
